Large, rare map, scale 1:240,000, depicting the Po Valley below the Alps and the Apennines, a military map produced at the behest of the Engineer Corps of the Kingdom of Naples in opposition to the French Republican armies. It is considered one of the most important achievements of modern cartography in terms of survey and scientific accuracy as well as for the clear symbolism used by the author, who was undoubtedly the most important Italian cartographer at the turn of the 19th century. He was responsible for the creation of the "Carta del reame di Napoli" (1769), the "Carta del Padovano" (1780) and his last work, the "Atlante geografico del Regno di Napoli" in 32 large sheets completed in 1812.
