A LARGE IVORY AND WOOD OKIMONO OF A WOODCUTTER FIGURE, SIGNED, JAPAN, MEIJI PERIOD (1868 - 1912)
A finely carved figure of a woodcutter depicted walking with his wood sticks on his shoulders and a stick on his right hand. In good conditions, minor wears on the surface, the ax re-glued. Signed at the base possibly Tamano.
