Desirable version with carburettors and dry sump. Less than 23,000 km since new. Accompanied by its original factory documents and maintenance invoices. Three owners from new.
Presented at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, the 308 GTB was a car designed to attract a new type of clientele for Ferrari. Replacing the unfortunate 308 GT4, Maranello's new 3-litre berlinetta offered an aggressive yet elegant and well-proportioned design. Initially offered with fibreglass bodywork for the first two years of production, the 308 was then converted with bodywork with conventional steel panels in the first half of 1977.
The car proposed here, chassis AB 33243, was produced in 1980 and registered in 1981. It was purchased by the Autoluce dealer in Modena and delivered to the first owner, a resident of Belluno. In 1986, it was then sold to a private individual resident in the province of Modena, where it remained, being slightly modified in aesthetics. All the owners have always used the car with caution and in an extremely thrifty way: as evidence of the originality of the mileage, there is an invoice of a car service done in 1992 that shows that the car had covered less than 7,000 km! The current owner bought the car in 2008 and brought it back to its original state In 2016, work was carried out on the engine to replace the pistons, piston rings, guides and valve seats.
The car is supplied with the factory books and car servicing documents, as well as photographic documentation of the work carried out and the second plate and offered in impeccable condition and ready to use.
