Annoverato fra i pionieri dell'automobile Giovanni Battista Ceirano di Cuneo fonda nel 1898, la sua fabbrica di automobili la G. Ceirano Junior, una delle prime case automobilistiche italiane. Nella sua azienda lavorano circa 40 operai e hanno in produzione inizialmente 3 modelli di auto, destinati ad arrivare a 4 con l'arrivo della 18-24 hp. Nel 1907 l'Azienda si fonde con la Otav e comincia l'attività sportiva, che vede la Ceirano impegnata in gare di grande rilievo come la Targa Florio. Due anni dopo l'azienda cessa la produzione.
Facente parte della stessa collezione da più di 60 anni, questa Ceirano Junior è da sempre rimasta in Piemonte. Sebbene la sua storia non sia conosciuta appieno, si sa che fu utilizzata in passato come attrazione retrò per svariate manifestazioni dalla città di Torino. Offerta per la prima volta in asta, rappresenta un'opportunità di acquisire un importante pezzo di storia dell'automobilismo italiano.
Giovanni Battista Ceirano of Cuneo, one of the pioneers of the automotive industry, founded his own car factory in 1898, the G. Ceirano Junior, one of the first Italian car manufacturers. About 40 workers worked in his company producing initially 3 different 3, which were destined to reach 4 with the arrival of 18-24 hp in the early years of the 20th Century. In 1907, the company merged with Otav and began its sporting activities, which saw Ceirano engaged in major races such as the Targa Florio. Two years later the company ceased production.
Part of the same collection for more than 60 years, this Ceirano Junior has always remained in Piedmont. Although its history is not fully known, it is known that it was used in the past as a retro attraction for various events from the city of Turin. For the first time at an auction, it represents an opportunity to acquire an important piece of Italian motoring history.
