RARA GARNITURE DI DUE VASI A TROMBA E TRE POTICHES CON COPERCHIO IN PORCELLANA FAMIGLIA ROSA SU FONDO NERO, CINA, EPOCA INIZIO QIANLONG (1736-1795)
A RARE GURNITURE OF TWO TRUMPET VASES AND THREE POTICHES WITH COVER, FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN ON BLACK GROUND, CHINA, EARLY QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795) (5)
enriched over the whole body with intertwining foliage of stems and leaves of chrysanthemum (chu) flowered enameled in blue, light blue, pink and white. The beautiful reserves of various forms of fans are painted with scenes of cockerels on a rocky and shrubs ground surrounded by peonies (mu tan) flowered, leaves, interspersed with smaller fans reserved with additional flowers and a flowering branch on which is perched a bird. The same decoration is repeated on the lid; one potiche with a small hairline crack and the cover handle restuck, the second potiche with the knob restored, a crack on the cover and a piece restuck, three small internal non trespassing star cracks, small flakes to enamel, the third potiche with two star cracks one of 10 cm and the other of 15 cm and a very small one, chips on the cover Covered potiche, height 44 cm

Three vases with the same decoration from the prestigious Collection of Alfred Morrison, Fonthill House heirlooms label, nos. 591 and 817 were sold at Christie's in London on 11 September 2004, lot 13.
A jar with lid with the same decoration to 'cock' is kept at Lady Lever Art Gallery (R.L. Hobson, Chinese and Wedgwood pottery, London, 1928, pg. 65 n. table 390. 5.).
