Austrian patent of nobility in excellent condition, embellished with large illuminated arms, in original binding and with the original sealing-wax stamp.
Folio, (360 x 300 mm). 10 leaves on vellum, the last two blank, elegant cursive handwriting, engraved frames to the first two leaves, large heraldic arms within an elaborate frame illuminated in gilt and coloured on the recto of the sixth leaf, signatures of the Empress, Chancellor Heinrich Kajetan von Blümegen (1715-1788) and the registrar Mariophilus Leisner. Contemporary velvet binding with yellow silk ties, large wax seal bearing the Habsburg arms, contained within a carved wooden case, marbled endpapers. (1
