Contemporary full vellum binding, gilt title-piece to spine (upper hinge restored with tape, some wear). Provenance: Ex-libris of the Writers Library, London; label to the front cover of the Rappaport antiquarian bookshop, Rome; stamp to the endpaper stating that the volume was donated by Alexander Fullerton (1924-2008), a soldier in World War II and author of the bestseller Surface!, about the Atlantic War.
