AN INCISED AND PARCEL GREEN-ENAMELED DRAGON PORCELAIN BOWL, CHINA, ZHENGDE SIX CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE
The deep rounded sides flaring slightly at the rim from a short straight foot, and incised on the exterior with two five-clawed dragons racing against a ground of similarly incised waves above a band of rocks and crashing waves, the dragons largely left in the biscuit and covered with a bright green glaze, as is the incised dragon and clouds forming a medallion in the interior, all within green line borders. In very good conditions, minor surface wears and minor firing imperfections.
