A PARCEL-GILT BRONZE DUCK CENSER AND COVER, CHINA, LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The duck parcel-gilt is modelled with detailed wings and tail feathers and with the head slightly turned, the mouth slightly open showing her tongue, standing on its paws. In good conditions, minor surface wears and scratches and minute nicks, all consistent of age, an old restoration at the foot.
