A FINE PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE CANTONESE EXPORT PORCELAIN JARS AND COVERS, CHINA, 19TH CENTURY (2)
Each baluster body rising from a recessed foot to a short neck with, brightly enamelled around the exterior with four vivid multi coloured panels depicting court scenes reserved between gilt-ground borders of flowers, precious objects and butterflies; the same on the covers, with gold knop. In good conditions very minor wears in enamels one vase, the other with a non trespassing star crack going in circle in the body and on the rim.
