A PAIR OF FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN FLUTED OVAL BASINS, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) (2)
Of stoudly potted oval lobed form with foliate rim, decorated to the central interior with flowering peonies, surrounded on the wall by alternate long tailed phoenix birds variously amongst peony flowers, below a band of green hatch-work, the exterior repeat the decoration of the interior wall with the centre left white. In good conditions, one hairline of 3 cm, minor wear and firing imperfections.
