A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN PEAR-SHAPED VASE, YUHUCHUPING, CHINA, 17TH CENTURY
The vase is well potted with a pear-shaped body supported on a short foot rising to a slender flaring neck with a wide flared mouth rim, the main body decorated with a continuous decoration of peony and lotus blossoms borne on a slender scrolling stem, the neck is encircled by a band of upright stylized plantain leaves. In good condition, minor firing imperfection.
