AN IMPERIAL INCISED AND GOLDEN SPINACH-GREEN JADE PLAQUE, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, TWO INCISED SEALS MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD QIANLONG (1736-1795)
Of a rectangular form of a pale spinach-green jade, the tablet in one side incised and gilded, to depict two opposed sinuous five-clawed dragons in flight, in pursuit of a flaming pearl, amidst scrolling clouds ending in the shape of Ruji heads, the other side inscribed with five-column, with an Imperial inscription wrote by the Qianlong Emperor, warnings people needs 'be vigilant in peace time', followed by two seal. In very good conditions, natural flaws in the stone, very small nicks to extremities, minor wear to the gilding and very minor scratches on the surface.
