From the preface: '"The author, who is truly 'wild', according to Leonardo's expression, is happily far from the academies and the piazzas. Isolated from foreigners, isolated in a certain sense even from Italians, he remains the significant representative of a trend in modern sculpture and a master of Italian art'".
