Lot of four 16th-century works including an edition of the works of Giovanni Battista Egnazio, Renaissance philologist and editor of numerous editions of classics, a good edition of the works of Horace in folio, and an incomplete copy of the 1513 Stagnino edition of Petrarch's Sonnets and one, severely incomplete, of the Trionfi.

Contemporary full vellum binding with manuscript title to spine and edges (some light wear, lacking ties) [IN LOT WITH:] ORATIUS (65-27 BC). Omnia poemata cum ragione carminum. Venice: Bonelli, 1567. Folio (307 x 214mm) Printer's device to title page, a few woodcut vignettes in the text, woodcut initials (light spotting and occasional dampstaining). Contemporary vellum with manuscript title on spine and plate (some wear, partially disbound, 19th-century endpapers).
