AN UNDERGLAZE COPPER-RED PEONY VASE, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, SIX-CHARACTERS SEAL MARK OF QIANLONG
Nicely potted with a tapering ovoid body supported on a short foot rising to a tall neck with flaring mouth rim, painted in 'pencil' style is decorated in underglaze copper-red, with a finely continuous scrolling design of large peony flowers with leafy foliage's, above a band of vertical lingzhi-heads to the trumpet-shaped neck below a double circle in underglaze blue, the base with a seal six-character reign mark in under-glaze blue. In very good conditions, very minor wear on the surface and minor scratches.
