Una vera icona italiana. Motore corretto e targhe originali Torino. Restaurata in maniera impeccabile. Divertente da guidare e usabile tutti i giorni.
A true Italian icon. Correct engine and original Torino plates. Fun to drive and usable every day.
The Fiat 500 is the car that represents at best the spirit of a nation. Founded in 1957 as a replacement for the beloved 500 Topolino, the New 500 immediately became one of the symbols of mass motorisation. Although it was an economical car with a pleasant appearance, it did not immediately achieve the success it had hoped for: due to the overly Spartan layout of the first versions, the absence of chrome-plating (at the time an almost indispensable accessory) and the excessively low performance (13 horsepower), the 500 immediately risked disappearing after its introduction on the market. The first series, known as Economica, was soon revised and re-proposed by Fiat with side windows and a padded rear seat instead of the austere bench. Success was not long in coming and thanks to Carlo Abarth's elaborations and his speed records, the 500 soon won a place in the hearts of Italians. With almost 3,000,000 units sold in almost 20 years of production, the 500 is one of Fiat's most successful cars and one of the most popular and beloved Italian icons in the world.
Delivered new in Turin to its first owner, this 1960 500 N is finished in a light blue hue and is one of the last 500 produced with the characteristic upwind doors. The engine and chassis numbers correspond, and the car has undergone good restoration work that has brought back impeccable condition. Iconic and easy to drive, this 500 is perfect for all those who want an iconic car that is also suitable for everyday use.
