A FINE AND RARE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN ROULEAU VASE, CHINA, QING DYNASTY KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is in very good condition with the exception of some minor glaze firing imperfections including tiny blisters and some light and minor glaze scratches.

The slightly swelling cylindrical body rising from a short recessed foot to a ribbed neck with stylized of geometric bands and to a everted waisted flared mouth rim, the shoulder with a clouds motif between three circular blue bands. The body painted with a fine cobalt-blue and decorated with a scene of five small officials presenting offerings to the three star gods (The Sanxing ('Three Stars'), Fu, Lu, and Shou, are the gods of the three qualities and the three qualities of Prosperity (Fu), Status (Lu), and Longevity (Shou) in Chinese religion, accompanied by a long Tibetan inscription of five columns. The foot ring unglazed and the white glazed base with double blue-line circles.
Provenance bought at the famous art dealer Enrico Questa and since then (1970) in this private collection.(Was bought as a wedding gift by the mother)
