AN EXTREMELY RARE WHITE GLAZED PEAR-SHAPE YUHUCHUNPING PORCELAIN VASE, CHINA, YUAN DYNASTY (1279; 1368)
In very good condition, the vase slightly lean on one side and with a firing crack on each handle where the handle meet the body of the vase and with just some firing imperfections as common for this type of object and of this époque.

Gently robustly potted on a compressed pear-shape form and oval section, rising from a splayed foot to a flared circular mouth-rim, set with a pair of elaborated mythical beast head loop handles with suspending fixed rings. The body richly applied overall with a vivid smooth milky-whitish glaze, the thick beveled unglazed foot-ring with the domed base glazed.
Provenance: bought from the famous art dealer Luigi Anton Laura in the middle of the sixty (1960-1965), and then remain in this private collection.
