A FINE GOLD DECORATED BLUE-GLAZED PORCELAIN HEXAGONAL BALUSTER VASE, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
Of hexagonal section with a tall stepped neck and everted rim, flanked by stylized phoenix handles, painted with a gilded decoration, in one side with a scene of a river landscape with pagodas amid rocks and trees on a riverbank with a boat and in the distance high mountains. All the other sides with a poetical inscription. The unglazed base with a black Chinese character inscription. In very good conditions, with minor firing imperfections and slightly wear to the gilding decoration in some areas more pronounced.
