Complete copy of the last gathering containing 'Del modo di distillare le acque da tutte le piante' ('How to distil water from all plants').Folio, (300 x 205 mm). More than 1000 engravings in text, printer's device to title-page, woodcut initials (small wormhole to the first leaves touching the text, small loss to gathering d with manuscript additions to the text, light browning on pages 199-200, small hole on page 491, light browning, reinforced margin to f. 7). 18th century full vellum binding, title lettered to spine in manuscript, speckled edges (a few old wormholes to spine and pastedowns, some light wear). Provenance: earlier inscription on title page 'Ad usum Jo. Baptistae Praesbiteri ; old stamp in lower margin of title-page (illegible) (1)
