An absolutely genuine copy with the editorial gatherings within a portfolio of the first part of Zanotto's Pinacoteca veneta, which reproduces the main paintings preserved at the Accademia di Venezia. This is the first series, published from November 1831 and discontinued in June 1832, to be followed only in 1834 by the second volume announced in the last gathering; on each wrappers are reproduced the reproductions contained and the announcement of those to be printed in the next gathering together with the price of each, 3 Austrian lire.30 gatherings, Folio, (490 x 350mm). 2 plates per gathering for a total of 60, portraits of the artists in the text, uncut (some spotting). Publisher's printed wrappers for each, contained within contemporary paper wrappers closed by ties and with an editorial printed title to the front cover (the first cut out to show the title of the work, some creases and minor wear).
