A NICE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN LOTUS BOWL, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, MARK AND OF THE PERIOD KANGXI (1662-1722)
Supported on a straight foot rounding to generous deep sides and flaring elegantly at the rim, the exterior painted in deep tone of cobalt-blue with leafy undulating lotus scroll each branch issuing of lotus flower-heads and a myriad of curling leaves, all above a foliate lappets band, the interior with a central medallion with a leafy spray and a lotus, all doble encircled; the base inscribed with a six-character mark within a double-circle and the unglazed foot ring. In very good conditions, very minor wears on enamels and surface, a very tiny spot unglazed of 5mm.
