Raro esemplare in Grigio Milano. Certificato di origine Alfa Romeo. Recente restauro totale. Fra le più iconiche Gran Turismo italiane.
Rare Grigio Milano. Alfa Romeo certificate of origin. Recent total restoration. Among the most iconic Italian Gran Turismo.
In 1962, Alfa Romeo introduced Giulia, a series destined to play a fundamental role in the Casa del Biscione. However, this did not mark the end of the Giulietta Sprint 1300, a series much loved by the public since its introduction on the market in 1955, and which still enjoyed excellent sales success. Therefore, the Alfa Romeo management decided not to change the line of the Sprint and to offer it with the new 1570cc twin-shaft with 91 horsepower and a more full-bodied and fluid delivery, keeping the 1300 version as the most accessible model to the public. With 7000 units produced, the Giulia Sprint was not as successful as the Spider version and was soon replaced by the iconic Giulia Sprint GT in 1963.
Ordered new in the rare Grigio Milano paintwork with blue leatherette interior, this beautiful Giulia Sprint is one of the finest examples of how a sports coupe can be perfectly elegant and refined. Produced by Alfa Romeo on September 1,1962 and delivered to its first owner in Novara on September 28, it remained in northern Italy until the 1970s, when it was sold in the province of Cosenza. After changing colour to the more popular Rosso Alfa, it was then bought back by the current owner, who started a restoration project, which ended last year. Used with caution and attention, the car is here offered in excellent condition and ready to be used for events or leisure trips.
