A RARE RETICULATED PALE CELADON JADE FLORAL BRUSH WASHER, CHINA, LATE MING DYNASTY 16TH - 17TH CENTURY

Skillfully carved in the form of a well rounded flower bloom with curled petals, borne on gnarled leafy branches issuing various flowers buds, the base stems branching out to form the foot, the interior with a half spherical bowl incised with the yin and yang motif, the stone of a pale green color with cloudy-white inclusions. In very good conditions, with just very minor flaws in the stone, a possibly crack in one of the branches and in the bowl, very minor losses and insignificant nibbles on the extremities.
