Patek Philippe's first automatic wristwatch, the legendary reference 2526, was introduced to the market in 1953 and was launched with the famous caliber 12-600 AT, Patek Philippe's first automatic movement, considered by many to be the most beautiful self-winding movement never made.
This model is exceptionally well preserved and from the original family. The off-white enamel dial of the first series is in truly remarkable condition and features the classic antique brownish graphics. In original condition, unrestored, the enamel dial impeccably preserved and appearing not to have suffered from time, it is an excellent example of a reference 2526 first series with many of the qualities that attract connoisseurs today.
