Title-page of the first and second parts engraved by Gaspare Grispoldi, portrait of Maffeo Barberini to title-page a4v, Barberini arms and medallions to title-page a5r ; on title-page l10v portrait of the author, woodcut initials and engraved vignettes (small defects, dampstaining, tear to title-page q8 with loss of some words). Contemporary vellum binding, red edges (partially detached, some light wear). Provenance: Galletti Library (19th-century collection stamp on title page); Horace de Landau (bookplate to endpapers). ()
