RARO VASO IN BRONZO A FORMA DI PERA, CINA, DINASTIA QING, XVII-XVIII SECOLO
Finely cast with a pear-shaped body, rising from an oval base to a waisted neck and pronounced mouth rim, standing on three feet modeled as elephant heads, each animal with long tusks and a ribbed trunk, cast with a pair of stylized taotie mask handles with rings at the shoulders, the bronze patinated to a fine golden toffee-brown colour. In very good conditions, with some more pronounced wear to the middle of the vase where the vase is handled and very light scratches.
