A Kerman Laver pictorial carpet (Persia) from around 1920 – depicting Dionysus covered in his cheetah cloak while playing music for a young woman – reached 8,750 euros, while a Bijar carpet (Persian Kurdistan) dating from around 1880 and decorated with palmettes, clouds and archaic shapes reminiscent of dragons, was sold at 7,500 euros. An Aubusson-style entre-fenêtres tapestry, made in France or Belgium in the nineteenth century, was sold at 6,250 euros, as was a set of embroidered Chinese cloths from around 1880 on a red background and five-claw dragons. Finally, a Persian Kerman carpet, dating from around 1900 and depicting Dionysus covered in a cheetah mantle playing music for a woman surrounded by cherubs, was sold at 5,000 euros.
