Copy from the library of the famous Polish antiquarian Wilfrid Voynich (1865-1930). The work describes the vision Mellini had of his guardian angel during the time he loved, without being reciprocated, a 'too beautiful woman, leggiadra et gentile' (p. 4). The angel reveals to him the dangers of carnal love and guides him toward the discovery of true beauty, that which comes from God.
