Fine copy of this scarce edition with only one passage at auction (RBH) of the account of the festivities held in Brescia in 1762 in honour of the elevation to cardinal of Giovanni Molino (1705-1773), Bishop of Brescia. The text describes the illumination of the city, the ball given at Palazzo Molino in Venice, the triumphal arches erected all over Brescia, a celebration at the Collegio, the illumination of the grand staircase of the monastery of Santa Chiara, and includes sonnets written by local poets in honour of the Cardinal. The two large plates are designed by Gaspare Turbini and engraved by Domenico Cagnoni.
