Lot of two scarce works on Dalmatia complete with their geographical maps by two naturalists and ethnographers of the Venetian Republic. Lovrich's work, which never came up for auction (RBH) also includes the life of Stanislav Socivica (1715-1777), a famous Croatian 'hajduk' (brigand), who fought against the Turks and gained the approval and recognition of the Emperor of Austria.
