Excellent copy of this interesting work illustrating the baths of San Giulano Terme, built under Francis of Habsburg, and scientific studies on the therapeutic virtues of their thermal waters.
4to, (280 x 210mm). 7 folding plates, illustrated by M. Piazzini, G. Ruggeri, G. Zocchi and engraved in copper by Nicolo Mogalli. Title page in red and black with 2 engraved medals and engraved vignettes in the text (two small stains on the title page otherwise an excellent copy). Contemporary painted leather binding, gilt title to spine. (1)
