An important edition of Caesar's work edited and translated by Almoro Albrizzi, to which is added the biography written by Enea Vico, together with studies by Aldo Manuzio, Andrea Palladio and Joseph Scaliger. The work is embellished with an elegant frontispiece, accompanied by a bust of Caesar, a map of Britain and an illustration of the means of siege used by the Roman army against Marseilles.
