A copy with a beautiful contemporary leather binding and wide margins of this second Aldine edition of Quintilian's works.

Contemporary binding, probably Roman, with 'Quintilianus' stamped on the first board and the initials 'F.G.Eq'(itus)? on the second, decorated with gilt decorated wolf's heads within a gilt and blindstamped frame (unbound, some light wear). Provenance: antique ownership inscription to title page; 'Vincenzo Parodi et amicorum' antique ownership inscription to title page; Ex libris S. Baglioni (20th century stamp to title page). (1)
