Scarce aldine edition of this famous Ciceronian text accompanied by Macrobius' commentaries. The work includes diagrams within the text, in accordance with Macrobius' precepts, who advocated the use of images as a means of conveying knowledge. Of particular interest is the world map, which illustrates Neoplatonic theories and divides the world into five distinct climatic zones.
