Edition illustrated with woodcuts of popular taste of Tasso's masterpiece, with annotations by the jurist and scholar Scipione Gentili (1563-1616). The edition also presents the Vita del Tasso, written by Bartolomeo Barbato, and the Notizie storiche by Lorenzo Pignoria (1571-1631) scholar and historian collaborator in Padua of the publisher Tozzo.
