A scarce work (last to appear at auction in 1955 RBH) written by a doctor from Salò. The work opens with a mythical description of the ancient town of Benaco on Lake Garda, where the protagonist, Eugenio, converses in prose and verse with a group of women about what love is, what its effects are, and what kind of affection is healthy for human life.
