Editio princeps of this theoretical treatise on fortune written by Garimberti, a bishop best known as a collector. His collection, towards the end of the 1500s, was so famous that it was included by Giovan Battista Cavalieri in the plates of his book 'Antiquarum statuarum Urbis Romae.'
