Famous 'Edition of the Gran Naso' or 'Nasone' that reproduces Sessa's 1564 edition, the first to combine Vellutello's and Landino's commentaries, edited by Francesco Sansovino with the woodcuts first used by the publisher Marcolini in 1544, then by Sessa in the 1576 edition and for this one.

Portrait of Dante on the title page, 97 woodcut illustrations in the text, vignettes, headpieces and initials (light spotting, a few occasional small woodworm holes at margins). 18th century leather binding with gilt title and decorations to spine, speckled edges.
