Copy of this scarce edition of Guido Cavalcanti's works owned by the Nobel laureate Giosuè Carducci and his friend, the famous bibliographer Bacchi della Lega. The edition, with only a passage at auction in 1947 (RBH), includes the opinion of the contemporary Egidio Romano (1247-1316) and the commentary and revision of the philologist Celso Cittadini (1553-1627), one of the first authoritative scholars of the Florentine vernacular.
