A LARGE PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE NINE PEACH BOTTLE VASES, CHINA, 20TH CENTURY, APOCRYPHAL YONGZHENG MARK (2)
With a globular body rising to a tall cylindrical slightly flared neck, enamelled with a gnarled tree trunk issuing two asymmetric peach branches extending halfway around the body and wrapping around the neck, the nine peaches depicted ranging in colour from pale yellow to rose-pink deepening to darker pink, the leaves shaded yellowish-green and darker green enamel, on the back five iron-red bats the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue. In very good conditions, very minor wears on the surface.
