A PARCEL-GILT, RED AND BLACK LACQUER BOX WITH TWO TEA CADDY, CHINA, 19TH - 20TH CENTURY
Of octagonal shape with a rich gilt and red decoration on a black ground, depicting scenes by pavilions surrounded by rich flower scrolls. In good conditions, the lacquer to the interior in very good condition; the lacquer to the exterior has lost a bit of its glossy surface and with minor rubbing and wears; the extremities with some small chips and losses mainly under the base near the sides.
