Finely illustrated edition by Debrie, Dubourg and Picart of the Adventures of Telemachus, Fénélon's masterpiece, first published in 1699Folio, (356 x 240 mm). 24 plates preceding each book, engraved vignettes, text within typographic frame (Author's portrait missing, restoration to leaf H4, some light wear). Contemporary full red morocco binding with gilt title and decorations on spine and turn-ins, marbled endpapers (some wear). Provenance: Ex-libris on the rear endpaper of Karol Hutten-Czapski (1860-1904), Polish nobleman and first citizen of Minsk.. (1)
