A copy unknown to literature of this very limited edition of 30 copies printed on handmade paper of one of the novels Pirandello worked on the most, from 1893-96 (when he began to conceive it) to 1931 (when he edited the last revised edition); this is the only Pirandello novel where a slight interest in socialism is shown.8vo, (190 x 128mm). Title-page in black and red, one of only 30 copies that were part of a special edition (ours is no. 6), printed on handmade paper. Decorated (editorial?) wrappers with title and publisher on cartouches applied to spine and boards (some wear). (1)
