Specimen embellished with an autograph dedication in the half-title to Robert Kemp (1878-1959), French journalist and literary critic, who wrote the article dedicated to Gide's winning the Nobel Prize for Literature.8vo, (192 x 141mm). Vignette by Henri Matisse on the cover, one of 200 copies on v?lin blanc intended for the author's friends (ours is marked A57). Editorial binding in cardboard protected by plastic (some wear).
