One of the most important and detailed 19th century maps of the Alps. The map, scale of 1:200,000, covers the west-Alps with Brescia and Valtellina to the east, Chamb?ry and Grenoble to the west, Valais to the north and the Gulf of Genoa to the south. Jean-Baptiste Raymond consulted the most updated charts of the time, in particular by Bacler d'Albe, Brera astronomers, the Sardinian cadastral maps and the large map of the Dauphin? by Bourcet and Villaret.Geographical map in 13 leaves, .comprising a general overview map (480 x 392 mm) and 12 leaves of approximately 455 x 640 mm each; in contemporary cardboard slipcase (1)
