Fewer than a dozen complete volumes of their plates from van der Aa's work have been sold in the last 20 years (RBH) and none depicting Zeeland, which makes the present copy virtually unique. 3 works in one volume, folio, (370 x 250mm). Title-pages printed in red and black for the three parts, index of plates at the beginning, 94 double-page or folding plates depicting topographical maps, views, interior scenes and building plans (complete, some plates glued together and folded, map 11 Tholen with small chips to the sides, central tear to Zeelande plate 1 without loss of text, some small marginal tears, lightly and uniformly browned, occasional stains).
