Scarce late 16th-century edition of this collection of pharmaceutical and alchemical remedies and secrets written by one of the most peculiar figures of Renaissance medicine. Of particular interest is the manuscript note on f.101, under the chapter on how to make olio incompostibile for the alchemical art and a a note written on the penultimate blank leaf in which is mentioned the willingness to buy the elements for the production of said oil.8vo, (144 x 87 mm).
