Third edition of the plates of the primum mobile, or outer celestial sphere in the Ptolemaic model, for the determination of astrological directions, originally published in 1610.2 vols, 4to, (230 x 160mm). Copper-engraved allegorical title-page, over a thousand ephemerides (lightly browned, small wormtrack to the first 90 leaves of the first volume, not touching text, light dampstaining to the margins at the end of the volume, wormholes to outer margin of second volume sometimes touching text, last few gatherings with dampstains, particularly to the last few leaves). Contemporary full vellum binding with handwritten title on spine [IN LOT WITH:] ARGOLI, Andrea. Ephemerides...ad longitudinem almae urbis Romae ab anno incarnationis dominicae 1621 usque ad 1640. 4to, 1 part (of 2) (213 x 155mm).
